Over the past few years, Shields has had the pleasure of working with a variety of state agencies including The Massachusetts Environmental Trust, The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT), The Massachusetts Film Office, The Massachusetts Sports Office, The Massachusetts Office of Marine Fisheries and The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. We recognize that in order for creative to succeed on the state level, it needs to be purposeful, great looking and distinct. It has to address the agency's objectives, stand out and connect with the public.

A unique experience has been uncorked in Plymouth! The 1620 Winery (formerly the Plymouth Winery) is proud to announce its new name and new owners, Robert and Raquel Mullaney. The Winery will be open to the public Memorial Day Weekend!

The winery and wine bar will feature live music. Relax around the outside fire pit and enjoy your favorite glass of wine. Unwind inside where you will find plush, cozy nooks to sit and experiment with unique wine flights and pairing boards made only with the finest artisanal meats and cheeses.

Sheryl, Sally and Paula recently visited the Boston Globe Travel Show at the Seaport World Trade Center. Although it was unseasonably warm for February, it was still tempting to book a trip to somewhere hot like the Caribbean, Vegas or Egypt to name a few!

One of the recent projects we have been working on for MOTT are their booth graphics. It is always challenging to find the perfect images at a high enough resolution for display graphics. The key to a great result is realizing that your final artwork will only be as good

Before Thanksgiving comes and goes we want to be sure we share one of our favorite seasonal holiday events, Halloween at Shields Design! Besides the bowls of candy littered about the studio we also enjoy dressing the part. This year, with no divulging of what our costumes would be, two Miss Frizzels showed up for work! (What are the odds?) Of course followed by our canine intern Skye as the magic school bus.

Upon our arrival at Standard Modern Company, we were greeting with a tasty lunch under a white tent on a clear blue day. Office Max, the resident dog, ran up to us with his tail wagging.
