Working with the Massachusetts Environmental Trust, Shields proposed a marketing campaign that would drive awareness to organizations all over the Commonwealth that work to protect our waterways and coastal ecosystems. Beginning with the design of a landing page and internet ad banners, Shields also coordinated media buying, management and ad placement which targeted pertinent users and websites. Social Media advertising was a a minor portion of the project.

The audience was encouraged to support these entities by purchasing a “Preserve the Trust” license plate. The goal was to reach the appropriate audience in mass numbers. This campaign was very successful. The smaller Facebook component had been so successful that Campaign II focused solely on the creation of a greater Facebook Ad Campaign.
